Myceli is a conservation coordination platform in active development. We take data privacy seriously — it's central to what we're building. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect

Waitlist signups

When you join the Myceli waitlist, we collect your email address and your role (stewardship project or funder/partner). That's it.

Contact form submissions

If you reach out through a contact form or by email, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, organization, and the content of your message.

Usage data

We may collect basic, anonymous usage data to understand how people interact with the site — pages visited, time on site, browser type. This data is never tied to an individual and is used only to improve the platform.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to:

Follow up with waitlist members about Myceli's development and early access
Respond to inquiries and contact form submissions
Understand who is interested in the platform and what they need
Improve the site and the product

We do not use your information for advertising. We do not build profiles. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.

How it's stored

Waitlist and contact data is stored securely in Supabase, a PostgreSQL-based database platform with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to the Myceli team.

What we will never do

Sell your data to anyone
Share your information with political campaigns or parties
Use your information for fundraising on behalf of third parties
Expose individual records to partners or the public

Third-party services

Myceli uses a small number of third-party services to operate:

Supabase — database and backend infrastructure
Vercel — website hosting and deployment
GiveRise.ai — the parent organization operating this project

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the information we hold about you
Correct any inaccurate information
Delete your information from our records at any time
Opt out of any future communications

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@giverise.ai with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will respond within 10 business days.

Cookies

Myceli.org uses minimal cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future we will update this policy accordingly.

Children

Myceli is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform develops. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we'll notify waitlist members by email.
